CCC Vs. rf (Clanbase)
For those of you who missed it, this was one of those moments that stick out in the clans history. The CCC decided to compete in a Clanbase EF competition and in one of the matches we trounced our opponents rf (real fighters), by such a scoreline that the clan decided to accuse us of cheating, using various hacks and even a “ping of death” on one of their players. Of course, all such talk was completely bollocks, as if we’d do such dastardly things, we’d have done them against tougher clans like wrld.
Anyway, since I’ve noticed all the old EF sites disappearing I’ve taken a copy of the hilarious comments from the matches clanbase page. Enjoy reading them, but be warned if you don’t like swearing

1) i talk as a "private" person and not as a PMP-Speaker (what i never was).
2) My post was a reaction on what Nulliver posted and the way he postet it.
3) My opinion is that good clans schould "stand above" (ger : drüberstehen,
dunno if it's correct so) such comments like "Cheater" and so on.
4) I haven't watched the demo befor i postet because my post wasn't dedicated to the game
but to the way nulli postet it (see point2 )
5) When i watched the demos (which were incorrect labeled, spy & voy are switched) i
saw that rf.harley said "Cheatwin" and so on.....not more and not less. Osiris maybe
related his comment to him wehen he sayd to "watch what he says".
So the Cheatwin comment came only from Harley, and i don't think u can blame a complete
team if one person does something like this.
6) The Link above is down, post a link to the complete condump, not just parts of it
which fit most to the picture "bad rf".

I didn't want to critizice CCC but Nulliver. But i see why he was angry about what

I can't be quiet. I think that i'm not a that bloody rookie to don't know when some
people are skilled. But what happent at sunday was not normal. We have been beaten from
other good clans like MC, WRLD or even Animax as well and i knowed always, that they are
more skilled like we or we knowed what we did wrong. But when we loose in this way:
Killed bevor hit or beeing almost half as quick as the opponent something have to be
wrong. When i'm golden, full of shield and then i'm killed while rocketjumping over the
wall just by one sniperhit i have to ask myself!
At the end i'm also a little bit angry about the Admins which came into our Chat-Channel
and lought about us. He didn't stoppt the game when Purgatory was out of the game. So we
had to play 4 vs 5 for about 2 minutes. He didn't have seen it.
In first round CCC had also a spectator in play what i mean that it isn't allowed.
After first capture of us in Spyglass CCC grow unnaturally strong, that it was absolutly
impossible to kill them. Hit soemone twice by Photon without any reaction is strange! I
have been killed out of nowhere as well.
For me at least is something more then clear... We have to check all the possibilties of
cheating and how we can EF run faster. Faster then other clans. It's absolutly stupid but
how it seems absolutly necaissary to do it!!!
And Nullifier... So meany times we have faced each other but you have been not that good.
And calling us Newibes during the war is stupid as well. We are on place 13 of ESPL and a
good team.
Fazit: It's a honor to fight against WRLD even when we loose. Becouse i'm shure that they
are well skilled and there is no shame to loose against them. They play fair just of
experiance. Maybe it depense of players age. Younger players have no respect and are
trying everything, legal or not to win just of experiance.
So i had to ask the administrator for his independent demo and statement. I don't accept
a demo or screenshots of the opponent. Otherwise we have to annulate this fight.

You have every right to question if a team is cheating, personally i've never suspected a
team of cheating but if i did I'd go about it in the right way. Firstly I wouldnt bind a
key to 'cheatwin' and constantly press it - because I would be laughed at and not taken
seriously, Secondly I would analyse the demos before making an accusation
(that’s what demos are for).
I understand why you are disappointed to loose, you simply didn’t
expect =CCC= to be so good and we are, there are some very good teams who have more
experience in clanbase than us - but I’m very sure that we are one of
the best teams . If we loose we will congratulate the winners and learn from our
mistakes, hopefully we will not have to go through cheat accusations again especially in
the manner that you accused.
I called you n00bs not because you are (I would never call a loosing side n00bs if they
loose badly) I called you n00bs because of your very bad behaviour. If you
don’t want to be insulted I suggest you don’t start
the insults. I hope you learn to have more respect in the future.

Summary - For the last time rf…we are a fair clan..we are also quite a skilled clan and
allot of clans make the mistake of under-estimating our ability….thats there
mistake….We have lost a few maps in our history and have taken it on the chin and tried
to learn form our mistakes, better ourselves…rather then making stupid comments about
cheating…I suggest you take a leaf out of our book and try to do the same

Okay, I think I have to explain something.
First the ping timeout of one rf :
I am sorry, but i cannot have my eyes everywhere. I saw circa 5 minutes before the end of
the match that one rf was missing, because I was answering questions on irc. After I saw
this, I looked at my console, but the only clue I found was a short ‘teams??’ of one
=CCC= and nothing more. Then I saw that one =CCC= was spectating and I told him that he
please spectate one of his teammates.
And if anyone doubt that my decision was wrong here a part of the clanbase rules:
In case a player dissappears from game due too ping timeout there are two
possibilities.1,the admin stops the game-but remeber an admin cant see everything he only
stops the game when he is aware of the the problem .2.the clans tell the admin-and then
he stops the game, the game will be intterrupted for max. 3 minutes. If after this time
the player haven t returend and no substitude is availible, the clan with more players
can decide if they are fair and agree to a 4 on 4 or take the advantage and play unfair a
5 on 4.
Second the reproach that =CCC= was cheating:
I look at them on ctf_voy2 very carfully and later I viewed the demos and I found no clue
that =CCC= was cheating at any time.

So it wasn’t a timeout at Purgatory’s disappearing. Someone made a Ping of Death on his
IP-Adress which we will have to figure it out form where it came from. Second is, that
there is software which can’t be detected by server or Administrator. The software is
called “AimBot” and is desined for Quake III users. I never called a clan cheaters bevor!
I will do it not without reasons and not that quick.
And i can just say: I’m pissed of that. A lot of gamers are useing it, now that i checked
this Cheatersoftware i can imagine how easy it is to target and hit perfectly.
That’s what i told bevor… No longer a matte rof skill.

The thing that strikes me is the people do not understand that ccc^ and the members have
worked very very hard to get were they are. Skill comes over time. rf. need to understand
that it takes time, effot and above all team work to be a great clan.
Virus, Null, Dave etc have worked extremly hard to change ccc^ from a laughing stock of a
clan to a respected clan and good clan. And we are respect by the top clans cos they also
know it takes time to develop.
rf……you have some talented players and if you work on it you can be just as good as
us. But just because we are better then you, don’t ruin the game by accuseing us of
cheating becasue that hurts us bad.
We have worked dam hard to get were we are and it hurts when ppl say we cheat.

Carrying this on will only make the situation worse for you and your clan. And in the end
we had to drop a player anyway and still beat you on 4v4. We didn’t notice one of your
players was lagging. And neither did the admin for a while. We apologise for that but it

lag.
This has gone on long enuff.
Just accept defeat and move on. Thats the only way you will improve as a clan.

the fuck you think you are rf. We have EARNT our respect in the ef community by showing
our strength on the EF field. We also take defeat graciously and have NEVER called any

is the amazing speed of pmp://headshot on faceoff….Hes speed is amazing……thats no
cheat although you fucking lamers probably think it is. Hes obviously practiced hard and

Just my 2 cents (and to show that not all belgians act crazy (Beethoven )
I’ve been playing ef from the time that anime was formed. Top clans at the time were sp,
fx, anime, wrld (and maybe some others that I might have forgotten, don’t shoot me). A
lot has happened since, many clans have disappeared, and many were created. However, from
the very beginning I knew Nullifier and Virus very well. I know that they are very good
players, always were. I always enjoyed playing with or agains them. I met other members
of CCC as well, and at that time the main reason of CCC’s existence was to have fun. Now
they have grown stronger, but honestly, there is no way that I could associate CCC with
cheaters.
